“We’re always looking for diverse talent in unusual places and welcome applications from anyone interested in a career in the IT and Digital sector.”

If you’re interested in learning how to become a junior software developer, tester or support analyst; the DevAcademy is for you. We recruit for roles using a unique model that includes an online assessment, technical test and interviews. See below for further details on our recruitment process and how you can apply.

If you’re interested in applying for one of our vacancies then register your interest with us via the contact page and let us know which role and location you’d like to be considered for.

As part of our process, we require you to take a short, online multiple choice test for each role you apply for. The test requires you to answer all questions and complete it in order to move onto the next stage. Questions on topics to be covered during the next training course will be asked on each test. However, we don’t concentrate on the result as such, we simply use it to gain an understanding of your current level of knowledge. You may wish to brush up your skills before taking the test.

Course Interview

Once the test is completed, we will contact you to arrange a telephone or face to face interview. We will explain more about our course and the opportunities it offers to enthusiastic, prospective developers, testers or support analysts. It’s also a chance for us to find out more about you and answer any questions you may have.

Training Course

The length of each course is role dependent. Our courses run Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm to get everyone familiar with typical working patterns. Candidates would need to be available to attend the full course in the region they apply for. If offered a place on one of our training courses, you will be given a more detailed program of the training, which will explain the skills and knowledge you will develop. During the training you will work closely with a range of people either on a specific brief or on a variety of projects.

Job Interview

We can’t guarantee jobs, however, after successful completion of your course, we arrange interviews with ourselves as well as Global IT providers and local companies. We also offer one to one and group feedback on CV and interview skills to make sure you’re fully prepared for that big opportunity!

If offered a position, you could start immediately after the course and be earning a competitive salary as well as taking that all important first step onto the career ladder. The sky’s the limit from there!
